Dead Before Daylight is an Alternate Universe Urban Fantasy role play in a world where supernatural creatures and humans exist side by side – at least, some of them do. Creatures like witches, pixies and satyrs live and work as openly as any human. They commonly hold positions of power in government and are afforded every right and protection.

Other creatures are not so lucky. Those believed threats to humankind and other benign creatures are still persecuted and oppressed. Beings like vampires and werewolves are still forced to live largely in hiding, as they are not afforded the protections of law.

Such blacklisted creatures have created a haven for themselves in the small city of Dawnbreak; but their sanctuary is becoming increasingly threatened by the arrival of outsiders. In the meantime a menacing power is lurking in the forests and increasingly beginning to threaten the town as people begin to go missing, and mangled bodies are beginning to be discovered in and around the woodlands.

 Magic Hands v2.0, [Dagonet]
"I hope so otherwise we arrested the wrong people," she joked bumping into him affectionately.

"Well they were obviously up to something shady here," he answered, "doesn't necessarily mean we've found a link to the big ring we're looking for, though," Dagonet frowned as he said it.

"We still going to have those drinks?"

"Yeah," he nodded, "lets get back and get the paper work filed so we can go do that."

Charlotte leaned into him again, this time as they moved to walk back to the car.

It would be an hour later, paperwork filled out that they would leave and go back to her place. As they came in she dumped her coat onto the back of the couch as she moved to her fridge to get them drinks. "Beer, vodka or whiskey?" she asked as she bent over to look in her fridge for her own beer.

"Whiskey sounds like a good start," Dagonet answered as he shrugged off his jacket, "feels a little deserved after the day we had."

Charlotte nodded as she moved to grab him a glass and poured them a drink sauntering over to him to hand it to him as she opened her beer. "So hopefully a step in the right direction today," she said brushing up against him to go sit on her couch.
