Dead Before Daylight is an Alternate Universe Urban Fantasy role play in a world where supernatural creatures and humans exist side by side – at least, some of them do. Creatures like witches, pixies and satyrs live and work as openly as any human. They commonly hold positions of power in government and are afforded every right and protection.

Other creatures are not so lucky. Those believed threats to humankind and other benign creatures are still persecuted and oppressed. Beings like vampires and werewolves are still forced to live largely in hiding, as they are not afforded the protections of law.

Such blacklisted creatures have created a haven for themselves in the small city of Dawnbreak; but their sanctuary is becoming increasingly threatened by the arrival of outsiders. In the meantime a menacing power is lurking in the forests and increasingly beginning to threaten the town as people begin to go missing, and mangled bodies are beginning to be discovered in and around the woodlands.

 Magic Hands, [Dagonet]
Charlotte hummed. "I know where my money is puppy."

"Yeah you'd better bird-brain," he smirked in retort, picking up his drink to sip while he ambled around the table. It was coming down pretty close, the time to play most strategically because it was that damn 8 ball that was most likely to lose an otherwise excellent game.

"That is if you don't fuck up the eight ball," she said to him smiling at him.

"Oh please," he snorted, "eight ball is the easiest shot of the game," Dagonet bull shitted as he took his next shot. He tapped the cue a little too hard, though, and it ended up sinking just after the first, "damn it," Dagonet cursed under his breath.

Charlotte moved around to where the cue ball went in and pulled it out. "The easiest shot in the game huh?" she teased him as she moved around the table closer to him.

"I've still got one on the table, thank you," Dagonet pointed towards the last ball he had to sink before he could try for the game winner.

"I know. But scratching mate. So taboo," she placed the cueball on the table as lined herself to start taking shots.
