Halloween Bash 2018: Machete Kills

Recommended Posts

image.pngIt was shortly after Alexei had gotten up the nerve to go talk to the leaf covered red head that Joe took his place to flag down the bartender. She bumped into Ilia as she set down her heavy custom airsoft gun and flipped her patch up to wipe away the sweat from her eye. She may have been half dressed but she was hot as hell, she was half convinced she had a flu or something.

"Sorry," she muttered to the man beside her that she had rubbed up against.

PS: Totally did it. Love you.

For all his razzing about Ilia being a nerve, it sure seemed to have worked out in Alexei's favor as the younger man watched his friend meander off with the red head he'd been eyeing. Ilia grumbled quietly to himself before huffing softly and looking down at his drink. One might think he'd be used to this by now but somehow being the overlooked sidekick on bar romps - even though he had been the one to instigate in the first place - never got any easier.

Someone jostled his shoulder as they took the seat next to him. For a split second Ilia started to glare that way - he'd only glimpsed them from his periphery and their size led him to the assumption that it was a male - only to find himself immediately snapping his jaw shut when instead he found an incredibly attractive woman.

That resulted in a few moments of awkwardness when she actually addressed that he existed at all. All Ilia could manage was to try and identify the character she'd adopted, "Luz, right?"

“That’s because most attractive women don’t normally know a good thing when they see it. Nerds are far more considerate than most hunky douchbags any day. I’m Joe by the way,” she said to him offering her hand after she wiped the sweat off on her pants. “Sorry, it’s fucking hot in here.”

His brow arched a little at the blatant label, though that was about the extent of his reaction. It wasn't like he could argue it or wasn't used to being called that anyway, "Ilia," he shook her hand briefly, "good to meet you Joe. So what're you drinking?"
