Guys Don't Like Me

Recommended Posts

Elizabeth was a bit of a nuisance on a good day. Today was no different. She had found a club that she was enjoying. She was half dressed. with a "Lick my Legs" t-shirt and a pair of bikini bottoms being her only clothes beside the heels she was wearing.

She was in the middle of a crowd of women with a song that she enjoyed playing in the background.

When the song was over she pulled a pretty young brunette thing closer and whispered in her ear before she started to head out with her.

What are we even doing here?

Gus wasn't entirely sure how he had gotten to this new part of the city. Distantly he remembered a long teal vehicle and bright light but really hadn't come to any semblance of reality until he was walking down the street. People were staring at him as the typically did but Gus had little notice of it, people were often so much like the background except for the few that burned brightly.

What's tha? It smells good.

Gus stopped in front of the club and stared at it as if seeing a building for the first time. He stood there in his grubby cloths and long coat with near black unblinking eyes until the woman who burned bright stepped into view through the doorway.

Oh if only we could.

Gus' stared with a dazed expression as if he hadn't realized anyone could speak. It took him a moment for the words to even really permeate his brain and that was when the bouncers of the club started to approach him. He didn't move, he didn't even seem to notice them until one of them was about to lay a hand on Gus' shoulder.

She wants us to move dear. Don't be rude.

He took two steps back but no more and it was the most unnatural looking movement ever to grace a body. He moved a bit like he were a robot or a doll pulled by strings. Then he turned, seemingly still unaware of the bouncers and walked away.
